No More Cyberbullies!

As our society becomes more and more enveloped in the digital world, so too do the risks. One such risk many of us have heard of or even experienced ourselves is cyberbullying. For those of you who don't know, cyberbullying is essentially the harassment of one or more individuals via the internet. Personally, I have never experienced cyberbullying firsthand, therefore I may have different view points and opinions on the matter. I believe cyberbullying is a growing problem that can be easily avoided using the proper tools. For instance, if a "friend" is saying rude or inappropriate comments, leave that social media outlet. Staying on and arguing back and forth is exactly what a cyberbully wants. Cyberbullies try to slowly chip away at you and get under your skin, so to speak. It's quite possible that some of you reading this have done some sort of cyberbullying to some degree. If you are still doing it, I implore you to stop. Nothing good will ever come of the criticism of others. We live in a new age with new ideas. The sooner we start to look past our differences, the sooner we can see our similarities. So together, let's help put an end to cyberbullying once and for all.
